These terms cover your use of proofthenpay.com, run by Lucky Ranasinghe at MADITECH. By using the site you agree to them.

What the service is today

Proof Then Pay helps a customer and a worker agree, before work starts, what proof will show the job is finished. You send a job brief; we reply by email to help turn it into a clear proof checklist, and, if you ask, to look for someone to do the job.

We do not hold, transfer, release or move money. We do not provide escrow and we are not a payment service. Payment for any job is arranged directly between the customer and the worker, on terms they agree between themselves, and we are not a party to that agreement. A proof checklist or a recorded approval is evidence of what the customer and the worker agreed; it is not a decision in a dispute, and we do not decide disputes between them. Workers can send us their details with the work form; sending details does not create a contract.

Your part

Give accurate details when you write to us, and only send information you are allowed to share. Do not use the forms to send spam or anything unlawful.

No guarantees

We cannot promise to find someone for every job, and we do not check, guarantee or insure the work, the proof, or either side's payment. Any disagreement about the work or the payment is between the customer and the worker. The site and our replies are provided as they are, and we do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.

We may update these terms as the service grows. The date below shows the latest version.
